God gifts to the Shepherds:
An outline based on Luke 2:1-20.
1. THE GIFT OF A GREAT EXPERIENCE- Visited by angels. Heard angelic singing. Then ushered into the very presence of the Savior. What a rare and glorious experience. Let us ask God for a wonderful, great and glorious experience of each of us this season and in the coming years.
2. THE GIFT OF A GREAT JOY- The good news. The Savior has come. The Shepherds understood that the Messiah will not only give eternal life but will change their life while in this world. Let us pray for the gift of a great joy to be given to us not only this Christmas season but throughout our entire life.

3. THE GIFT OF A MEANINGFUL CONTRIBUTION TO GOD’S WORK IN THE WORLD- The Shepherds were the first human beings to proclaim the Good News that the Savior has been born. Imagine such a wonderful contribution to the work of God in the world. Let’s pray for the privilege of being given a meaningful contribution to the work of God in the world
