What do we need to understand to prevent money from becoming an idol?

ARGURIOLATRY or IDOLATRY involving money ….

I- ARGURIOLATRY TAKES PLACE WHEN THE MONEY EARNER LIVES A LIFE OF ARROGANCE .

II- ARGURIOLATRY TAKES PLACE WHEN THE MONEY IN OUR HAND IS NOT ACCOMPANIED BY GOOD FAMILY RELATIONSHIP

III- ARGURIOLATRY BECOMES A WAY OF LIFE WHEN GOD IS TAKEN FOR GRANTED IN OUR LIVES.

The answer to the problem of Arguriolatry is clear to us:
First: The money earner must outgrow arrogance
Second: The money in our hand must be accompanied by wonderful family relationship

Third: the money in our hand must be handled with deep love for God and for His People.

No other way is more powerful than FAITHFUL TITHING in defeating ARGURIOLATRY.

Heb 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
Eccl 5:10 Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless.

Eccl 7:12 12 Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: that wisdom preserves the life of its possessor.
Prov 13:11 Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Gen 28:20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, "If God will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear 21 so that I return safely to my father's house, then the LORD will be my God 22 and this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God's house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth."
